We are offering services ranging from airfreight, sea freight, and transport to value added logistics.
We are a Japanese company who has an international atmosphere. We are looking for someone who understands a Japanese Business Culture. Especially, the Accounting department is required a daily contact with our headquarters in Japan.

Our accounting department is currently looking for a person due to a retirement of a current manager.

【ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES】
(Other duties and special projects may be assigned.)
1. Responsible for month end close activities on time in coordination with Japanese HQ finance team.
2. Manage monthly/quarterly close financial statements and supplemental schedules, corporate reporting in Japanese.
3. Attend the TV meeting with HQ in Japanese
4. Handle financial related problems among inter-companies in Japanese
5. Drafting and analyzing financial statements for Japanese customers (mainly in Japanese).
6. Drafting internal financial reports and supporting analytics for division management (mainly in Japanese).
7. Tax related tasks (VAT, corporation tax, other indirect taxes)
8. Budgeting
9. Making Japanese reports for the Managing Director
10. Be able to understand the financial reports from Japan.
11. High people management skill
12. Internal audit management experience

【REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION】
1. Native level of Japanese (reading, speaking, writing, listening) and business level of English (Dutch is a pré)
2. Be able to be a contact person in our Headquarters in Japan in Japanese.
3. Have a valid work permit in NL.
4. Knowledge of and experience with Sap accounting system.
5. Knowledge of and experience with General accounting system of Japan
6. Knowledge of and experience with VAT
7. Knowledge of and experience with IFRS (preferred)
8. Ability to set priorities, work with deadlines and be flexible
9. Responsible and proactive attitude
10. Good at people management
11. Keep good harmony with colleagues
12. Have a driver’s license in NL

【EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE】
• Degree in Finance administration (HBO level) and
• At least 5 years relevant work experience in the similar function. Knowledge and experience with general accounting system of Japan and corporate reporting required.
