As an Executive Assistant, you will support our CEO, Jose Cuadrado, and the Executive Leadership Team in their daily routines and personal tasks. Our philosophy is simple: understand our customers’ challenges, exceed their expectations, and deliver excellence in everything we do.

What are you going to do?
As the Executive Assistant, you will support our CEO and the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring that all tasks are executed effectively, efficiently, and on time. You will work within established assignments, procedures, and guidelines to maintain the smooth operation of the department.
Your role is vital in ensuring that our executive operations run seamlessly and that our leadership team can focus on strategic priorities.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Agenda management: Manage and maintain the CEO’s professional agenda, advise on time-sensitive and priority issues, and ensure appropriate follow-ups.
- Travel arrangement: Coordinate all travel arrangements for the CEO and the Executive team.
- Event organization: Plan and organize events led by the CEO.
- Support administrative work and reporting: Develop presentations and white papers for internal and external use and prepare documents, reports, tables, and charts.
- Projects support: Provide operational support, coordination, follow-up, and communication for projects managed by the CEO.
- Confidentiality and discretion: Handle highly confidential documents with utmost discretion and integrity.


Who are we looking for?
As our Executive Assistant, attention to detail, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and solid organizational skills are essential. With several years of experience in similar roles, you can assess urgency and make independent decisions.
You are approachable, respectful, and comfortable with new technology, virtual meeting platforms, and scheduling systems. At YANMAR, ownership and accountability are key, and you should be comfortable taking initiative in administrative decisions.

The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience;
- Proven experience working with C-level leadership in an international environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Strong sense of discretion and integrity;
- The following mindset applies to you: solution-orientated, proactive, and empathetic.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Strong language skills, fluent in both spoken and written English. Fluency in Japanese is preferred.

Applicants must currently reside in the Netherlands, and also be eligible to work in the country, including having a valid work permit and/or passport.


Your regular workplace is Almere (NL), but hybrid working (40% home/60% office) is possible in this position.
