The role of the Accounting Manager includes the following:

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team,
• Financial input in the system
• Monthly, quarterly and end-year process
• Preparation of consolidated financial statement
• Expenditure budgeting
• Financial analysis and reporting
• Fixed asset activity
• Various tax filing

Candidates are required to have the following skills, characteristics and qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Accounting/Financing field
• Experience in the consolidated financial statement (preferably at a Japanese company)
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, law and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise
• Good command of English and Dutch, both verbally and written (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of accounting software such as Exact and SAP
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Microsoft Excel in particular)
• A valid EU work and residence permit (mandatory)
• High standards in work ethics and able to maintain a professional relationship with peers and supervisors
• WO/HBO degree in Accounting or Finance
• An interest in Japan or some proficiency in the Japanese language will be considered a plus.
