Responsibilities and tasks:

1. Inbound:
-Unload goods.
-Check packages for damage.
-Count number of packages.
-Inform Supervisor/Manager Warehouse in case of damage and/or problems.

2. Checking goods:
-Check pallet numbers.
-Open boxes per pallet number.
-Unpack boxes.
-Repack contents of boxes in plastic bins.
-Check goods for damage.
-Put away goods in right position at the appointed location by using (reach/forklift) truck, EPT,
pump wagon or any other equipment if needed.

3. Order picking:
-Pick orders according to picking list distributed by the Supervisor/Manager Warehouse or
a person appointed by him for assembly line or preparation of (finished) goods to be shipped
out by using (reach/forklift) truck or any other equipment if needed.

4. Outbound:
-Correct packing of goods to be shipped out according to fixed packing instructions.
-Load cargo in trucks/containers etc.

5. All other occurring tasks e.g.:
-Value Added Service (VAS) projects such as assembly, check, repack- and/or (re) label activities.
-Count/check of stock.
-Administrative tasks (for expedition office, a client or project).

6. Safeguarding safety and order in the warehouse and taking responsibility for an
accurate handling of all goods and materials of Nippon Express NEC Logistics Europe
and its clients:
-Maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment and installations e.g. in the warehouse.
-Keep the warehouse itself clean, tidy and safe.

NB: The regular working hours are from 8:30 to 17:00 hours, overtime may be required to finish daily tasks!

*Valid reach/forklift/EPT driving certificate.
*Knowledge of and experience in handling all occurring warehouse activities such as inbound/outbound picking/packing/(un)loading/scanning/stock counts etc.
One will start out with fixed-term contracts that would become a permanent contract after proven ability. It’s a full-time position (40 hours per week), currently regular working hours are between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and the lunch break amounts to 30 minutes (between 12:30 and 1 p.m.).

Nippon Express NEC Logistics Europe B.V. is looking for a new colleague (per immediately) seriously interested in a long-term job as Warehouse Operator for the Warehouse Team.

*Starting period: as soon as possible.

*Salary indication (full-time, 40 hours per week): between euro 1700 and 2400 gross per month, varying depending on skills, knowledge and experience.
