WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Finance Analyst is responsible for preparing and distributing financial data such as monthly, quarterly closing, and annual plan. You will support the Management Support department in any ad-hoc information request. Supporting Accounting conferences and trainings is also a part of the role.
-Preparing standard reports for monthly and annual summaries to the Management such as Regional Financial Reports & FCF report
-Monitoring Group companies’ financial reporting including variance analysis, and clarifying details behind those variances
-Monitoring the Global F&A portal for relevant Finance announcements and requesting information from regional companies accordingly
-Month-end closing of regional companies
-Supporting the Management Support department on any ad-hoc data requests, presentations, and administrative tasks
-Supporting Accounting conferences and Training, liaising with Japan HQ

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
In order to qualify for this versatile and challenging position, required are at least the following criteria:
2+ years of experience in a similar role
-At least Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Accounting
-Knowledge of SAP is desired
-Business level of English, both written and spoken
-Understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language skills are a plus
-High attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
-Valid work permit (VISA-support not available)
