・Independently handle expedition dossiers,
・Receiving and registering incoming orders,
・Coordinating and following up the shipments,
・Books with subcontractors (Road transporters, sea freight and air freight carriers),
・Creating all necessary customs documents and taking care of customs declarations,
・Drafting waybills and airway bills,
・Informing the customer about the progress of the shipments,
・Perform additional administrative work,
・Maintaining contacts with customers and carriers about the shipments,
・Drafting and issuing instructions,
・Monitoring the external / internal flow of goods,
・Processing costs incurred in revenues in the system,
・Maintaining logistic efficiency of documents,
・Dealing with exports for (inter) national customers in an independent manner,
・Transferring files independently of each other,
・Receiving and registering incoming shipments, coordination and follow-up,
・Creation of all necessary customs documents and the provision of customs declarations,
・Bandle ad hoc requests.
A completed education at minimum MBO 4 level (a completed logistics course is a plus)
・At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position in a logistics or shipping industry,
・Commercial attitude and good communication skill,
・Accurate in making bookings, making shipping arrangements and performing additional administrative work.
・Team player, stress resistant - must work together with different colleagues and without a 9 to 5 mentality.
・Being able to suggest for improvement
・Enthusiastic to learn new tasks
・Commercial skills and working closely with the sales department
・Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing,
・Knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
・You are familiar with customs documents that are required for this function.
・No issue with background check by Declaration on Behavior (VOG) for A.C.N. Schiphol pass
・Need to have a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
