Call for Amstelland Hospital Japan Desk Donation

 

Dear member,

 

Thank you very much for your continuous support to JCC as a member of JCC.

The Amstelland Hospital Japan Desk was established in 2010 as a result of discussions between the JCC, JCC member companies, Amstelland Hospital, Amsterdam in Business, insurance companies, etc., in order to meet the desperate needs of the Japanese community living in the Netherlands, who are confused by the Dutch healthcare system and services, which are quite different from those in Japan. Please visit the website for more information. https://japandesk-amstellandhospital.nl/ Its operation is supervised by a board of directors of Japan Desk Foundation (non-profit organization), which JCC board member is also participating.

The Japan Desk provides the information of Dutch medical system in Japanese as well as an on-site assistance by Japanese speaking staff for Japanese patients that receive the medical examinations at Amstelland Hospital．They are also available by phone or email from inside and outside the Netherlands to answer the questions and provide information on the Dutch healthcare system in general. The number of cases reaching around 120 per month and all services are available for free of charge. Therefore, the donations or good will from JCC member companies and individuals are an essential source of funding to maintain and improve the operation of the Japan Desk.

Although we receive the support from many member companies every year, the recent increase in operating costs due to high prices, as well as declining of the donations, has made it difficult for them to keep the operation in good shape. We would therefore be very grateful if you could support them and their activities by the donation.

Your logo can be printed on the next year’s flyer with the donation above 1500euro. Please see flyer of this year for your reference. For your information we have set the following guideline for donations.

• • JCC board member companies : from 400 Euro
  • JCC member companies : from 200 Euro

This is just a guideline. Your donation of any amount will be highly appreciated.
