Nabtesco Marine Europe is seeking a proactive and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Rotterdam. This role is ideal for technically minded professionals with a strong hands-on approach and a passion for maritime technology. You will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting Main Engine Remote Control Systems and associated components for remote control and fuel supply systems on commercial vessels.

[Key Responsibilities]
・Travel to client sites to perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electronic and pneumatic control systems.
Install and commission Nabtesco propulsion remote control and fuel supply systems.
・Deliver expert technical support to clients, ensuring maximum system uptime and performance.
・Collaborate with internal teams to share product feedback and contribute to continuous improvement.
・Accurately document service activities in accordance with company standards.
・Availability for frequent travel within Europe and occasional international assignments, including weekends.

[Qualifications & Requirements]
Education: Degree or technical certification in electronics, mechanics, or a related field.

Experience: Previous field service or maintenance experience preferred. Basic understanding of electronic and pneumatic systems; ability to read technical schematics. Training will be provided.

Skills:
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Competence in using electrical and hand tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Other Requirements:
Willingness to relocate and work from our Ridderkerk office
Valid EU work permit or visa allowing work and travel within Europe and internationally
Possess a valid EU driver’s license

South-Holland (Ridderkerk)

・Education in electronics, mechanics, or a related technical field (degree or technical certification) with basic understanding of electronic and pneumatic systems and ability to read technical schematics.
・Valid EU work permit (or visa) and EU driver’s license, with willingness to relocate to and work from the Rotterdam office and travel frequently within Europe and internationally, including some weekends.
