Call for Participation in GREEN×EXPO 2027
In March 2027, the “International Horticultural Exposition (GREEN×EXPO 2027)” will finally be held in Yokohama. This will be the first World Expo in the Tokyo metropolitan area in 42 years and the first in the Tokyo metropolitan area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba). It will showcase the charm of flowers, greenery, food, and agriculture, as well as Japan’s technologies that contribute to solving global environmental issues such as decarbonization.
As various governments officially participate, we are considering inviting companies to join us. The benefits for companies include “international brand promotion and enhancement of corporate value through official participation,” “a platform for showcasing green and environmental technologies,” and “networking and matching with government representatives, companies, and research institutions from participating countries.”

- Location: Part of the former Kamiseya Communication Facility (approximately 100 hectares) (Asahi Ward and Seya Ward, Yokohama City)
- Expected Attendance: 15 million people (including various participation forms utilizing ICT) (Paid visitors: over 10 million)
- Theme: Scenery of the Future for Happiness
- Organizer: The Association for the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition (Public Corporation)
- Classification: The highest level of international horticultural exposition (A1) Approved by AIPH (International Association of Horticultural Producers) and recognized by BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) This will be the second event in Japan, following the “Osaka Flower Expo” in 1990.
