JCC Autumn Tour: Experience Dutch “Food” and “Craftsmanship” – Saturday, November 22
Registration closed. If you wish to register on the waiting list, please send the email to JCC secretariat.
We are pleased to announce that JCC has organized a special tour on Saturday, November 22, offering participants the chance to experience Dutch “food” and “craftsmanship.”
Our first stop will be Simonehoeve, located in Katwoude, North Holland. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in a traditional Dutch cheese-making workshop and create your very own cheese. During the process, you’ll enjoy a tasting of various cheeses and observe a demonstration of wooden shoe (clog) making at the adjacent workshop.
Next, we’ll head to Chateau Amsterdam, an urban winery in the northern part of Amsterdam. With over 180 commercial wineries across the Netherlands, wine production is a growing sector in Dutch agriculture. Chateau Amsterdam imports carefully selected grapes from across Europe and produces authentic wines right in the capital. You’ll tour this innovative winery and receive a bottle of their limited-edition red wine, specially made to commemorate Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary.
As this event includes alcohol, we will provide a private bus for transportation, ensuring a safe and worry-free experience. We warmly invite you to join us and bring your friends and colleagues!
