The number of participating companies is limited, so if we receive a large number of applications, the organisers and the JCC will consider the balance between the different industries and make adjustments accordingly.

  • Background of Japan Company Day:
    • The JCC started the cooperation with organizing this event in response to a request from the Leiden university Japanese Studies, as there are few opportunities to learn about Japanese companies despite the fact that students are studying about Japan.
    • For students, this event would be a very meaningful opportunity to deepen their understanding of Japanese companies.
    • For Japanese companies, it may be also a great opportunity to encounter the Dutch (or non Japanese) students who understand the Japanese culture and have good Japanese language skills will help to raise the profile of their companies.
    • It may contribute to the further development of exchange between the two countries through this event (or through internships, employment of the graduates in the future).

Looking forward to receiving your application!

Kind regards,

Simpei Mizuguchi
